A true solution is a type of homogeneous solution in which the solute particles have size of less than 1 nm.

Whereas a solution may be true, colloid or suspension.

Therefore, a true solution is only a type of solution.

The particles of true solution are not visible to naked eyes, the particles of colloidal solution can be seen through ultra microscope and the particles of a suspension are visible to naked eyes.
