Open in App
Solution

Ocean currents are streams of water flowing on ocean surface in different directions. These currents can either be warm currents carrying warm water or cold currents carrying cold water from one region of Earth's surface to another. Generally, warm currents flow from Equator to poles. Cold currents originate in the polar region and flow towards the Equator.
