Solution

Naked seeds are those which are not present inside fruits. They are formed because of presence of naked ovules in the plants. The ovules are not present inside ovary, as there are no structures called flower. They are characteristic feature of gymnosperms.

Covered seeds are found inside fruits as they develop from ovules present inside ovary of flowers. They are characteristic feature of angiosperms.
