The conventional direction of the current is opposite to the direction of the flow of electrons. The electrons flow from the lower potential to the higher potential. Therefore, the direction of the current is from higher potential to the lower potential. The direction of flow of hole is in the direction of the current i.e from the higher potential to the lower potential.
