Solution

Heteropolymer Homopolymer
Two types of monomers joining to make a polymer, known as heteropolymer or copolymer
In Homopolymer single type of monomer is polymerized to form a macromolecule.

Heteropolymer are of various types, depending on the ways of joining the two monomers
As variation of joining is not present in homopolymer, there are no sub-types

When two types of monomers joins to make a polymer, it is known as heteropolymer or copolymer. It is of three types:
1. Alternating: Here two monomers are arranged in an alternative fashion.
2. Random: Here two monomers are arranged in a random order.
3. Block: In this type of heteropolymer, each monomer can join with the same type of monomers, and subsequently the two blocks of homopolymers can join.
