Volume of liquids is measured using graduated beakers, cylinders. Usually it is in millilitres.
Volume of regular solids can be determined by the formula: length x breadth x height.
Volume of irregular solid is measured as follows:
Pour some water in a graduated beaker such that it will cover the given solid. Measure its volume.
Now, put the solid in the beaker and note down the change in the level of water. This change in the level of water is equal to the volume of solid.
