Open in App
Solution

Vasopressin: Stimulates re-absorption of water from the distal tubules, and hence, prevents loss of water through urine (diuresis); therefore, called anti-diuretic hormone (ADH).

Aldosterone : It works on the late distal tubule and the collecting tubules, where it increases Na+ reabsorption and K+ secretion and also water reabsorption.
