Bile juice:

1. ​Bile juice is secreted from the liver.
   
2. Bile juice contains the pigments called bilirubin and biliverdin and the bile salts like sodium taurocholate, sodium glycocholate.
   
3. The bile is stored in the gallbladder and released in the duodenum.
   
4. The fat globules are broken down smaller molecules so that lipase from the pancreas can act on it.
   
5. The bile helps with the emulsification of fats and it facilitates the absorption of digested fats.
