What is the reason for the low visibility during cold weather?

Open in App
Solution

Hi Nimitha!

During cold weather, the water vapours present in the atmosphere increases. This increases the scattering of the light. As more and more light is scattered away, the light reaching the eyes reduces. This causes the reduction is visibility in the winter time.

Cheers!!
