Role of Communist party in India:
a. Taking inspiration from the Bolshevik revolution , the Communist party came into existence in 1925, advocating socialism.
b. They took the cause of national minorities like poor peasantry.
c. The communist combined the twin tasks of national liberation from imperialist yoke and social liberation of the toiling masses from feudal and capitalist exploitation and oppression.
d. They emerged as a radical alternative to Gandhian ideology.
