What is the role of larynx and pharynx and appendix in our body?

  • Larynx is a sound producing organ. It grows larger during puberty in boys than girls. It looks like a small rounded apple, sticks out at the front of the throat. It is also called as the voice box. It is producing articulate human speech.
  • Pharynx is a throat and acts as a passageway of both air and food.It delivers food to the stomach along with esophagus.
  • Appendix acts as a storehouse for good bacteria. It is rebooting the digestive system with beneficial germs and stores and protects them until they are needed.
