What is the speed of light in water?

Since, refractive index of water = 1.33
As, refractive index is given by :
$\mu =\frac{c}{v}$ ......(1)
where, c is speed of light in vacuum = 3 X 10⁸ m/s
and v is the speed of light in medium (water in this case)
Putting value of refractive index of water ( = 1.33) and the value of c in eq. 1, we get speed of light in water (v) = 2.25 X 10⁸ m/s.
