USA offers two primary sources of citizenship -

1) Birthright citizenship - A person naturally attain the citizenship of USA if he/she is born within the territorial limits of the country.

2) Naturalization- A migrant can attain the citizenship of the USA by applying for citizenship and is granted the same if he/she fulfills the criteria laid down.
