a. It was a movement which aimed at bringing about reforms and ending legal racial discrimination against the African-Americans ,from 1954 to 1968.This movement also targeted the practice of racism in US, from 1966 to 1975.
b. It was more peaceful in nature. This movement was more militant and radical in nature.
c. Led by Martin Luther King Jr., who advocated peaceful methods like non cooperation, civil disobedience to end racial practice.The movement advocated the use of violence to end racism.
