Women were allowed the following:
a. Till the last part of the nineteenth century, sports for girls was not a part of their education.
b. Women were not allowed to play games that was dominated by males like cricket, rugby; rather they were encouraged to do skipping.
c. Instead of cricket, Croquet was encouraged among women which was a slow-paced, elegant game.
d. By the 1890s, school began acquiring playgrounds and allowing girls to play some of the games which was dominated by males but they were not allowed to compete.
