what were the lessons learnt by the vietnamese in rat hunting
Rat-hunt became a unique way of the Vietnamese to protest against the French forces. Since the Vietnamese were offered a bounty for the rats caught and killed by producing the tails, the Vietnamese learnt to negotiate and bargain for higher price by collective bargaining. They even raised rats and chopped off the tails for the prize money. The locals found ways to defeat the French purpose.
Lessons in hygiene and better sanitation were also learnt with the outbreak of the plague.
