Open in App
Solution

When signal reaches to the muscle through the nerve. There is release of the calcium ion in the muscle cell, which remove the troponin from the actin and binding take place. If in resting condition, the troponin do not hide the actin binding site it will remain there and no contraction of muscle will take place. Condition is similar to rigor mortis.
