Question

What will happen to the rate of photosynthesis in the following situations:-

a) cloudy day

b) no rainfall in the area

c) good manures in the area

d) stomata get blocked due to dust

a) On a cloudy day the rate of photosynthesis will be less, because of reduced levels of light.
b) If there is no rainfall in any areas the rate of photosynthesis will be less because of scarcity of water.
c) If the area is good manure it will have no effect on the rate of photosynthesis because manure does not play an important role in photosynthesis.
d) If the stomata are blocked because of dust then the photosynthetic rate will be less. There will not be exchange of gases.
