what will happen to the value of g on going upward or downward the earth surface?

Open in App
Solution

Hi Suyash!
The gravitation of Earth decreases when height increases or depth increases. That is, the value of g will be lesser than that at the surface of Earth, when we go upwards or downwards. Hence, acceleration due to gravity always decreases in any of the cases given by you.
Cheers!!
