what you think is cork cambium &vacular cambium are they similar are they types of meristems ?
Cambium is the lateral meristem that is present in vascular plants and it results in secondary growth.
Lateral meristems are of two types,
1. Vascular cambium- It gives rise to new vascular tissue.
2. Cork cambium or phellogen- It arises later to replace the ruptured epidermis of the expanding plant body.
