Solution

Dear Student,

Yes mosquito takes blood from one person along with gametocytes. When mosquito again takes blood from another person and injects the sporozoites in the human body. Since the mosquito does not inject blood back into another person so how it can act as an agent of AIDS. AIDS is caused:

* by sharing contaminated needles while injecting drugs.

* by having sexual contact with an infected person.

* from an infected mother to the child through pregnancy or breast feeding, etc.
