when mosquito bites ,red spots arise and we feel like itching why it happens?

When a mosquito bites, our immune system secretes histamine to combat the foreign substance. The histamine reaches the area under attack, causes blood vessels there to swell which appears as swelling and making the nerves in the area irritated by the swelling which causes an itchy sensation.
