When plants are grown under different conditions they show some variations like variation in number and arrangement of leaves and floral parts disappear. But when they are allowed to grow under similar conditions all morphological variations disappear and they show same morphology. Such kind of variations are known as morphological variations and such variants are known as biotypes.
