WHEN THE BOAT HAVE MORE DENSITY THAN THAT OF WATER WHY THE BOAT FLOATS & EVEN IT HAS A HOLLOW SPACE WHAT DOES IT MATTER ? WHY THE BOAT DON'T SINK IF IT HAS MORE WEIGHT THAT THE WATER CAN HOLD?
For the boat to keep afloat its density should be less than that of water.
It has a hollow cave in the middle so as to reduce its mass along with increasing its volume. The mass of air inside that hollow makes the density of boat less than that of water. We cannot have a solid material as it will not float.
