The boiling temperature of water is 100 ⁰C at sea level. Boiling point is the temperature at which the pressure of a liquid becomes equal to that of the surroundings. Boiling point depends on the surrounding's pressure. At higher altitude surrounding's pressure is less so the boiling point of water is also less.
