Yes, sneezing in front of food can infect the food. When a person sneezes, a lot of germs are released from nose and mouth which infect the surrounding area. Any uncovered food item can get infected by these germs and causes diseases on consumption. As soon as the person sneezes the food gets infected as they germs can grow in the food. Yes, the bacteria would spread into the person eating the infected food and cause diseases in them.
