where are leydig cells situated? how do they help in spematogenesis?

Leydig cells are found around the seminiferous tubules in testes. They produce and secrete the hormone testosterone in presence of luteinizing hormone. Leydig cells are also known as interstitial cells. These are stimulated by leutinizing hormone of pituitary gland to secrete testosterone.
