Most of the vitamins and minerals are absorbed in small intestine. 95% absorption of approximately all minerals take place in small intestine. Few vitamins like biotin and vitamin K which are produced by bacteria of large intestine are absorbed their. The absorption of remaining minerals (5%) which are left takes place in large intestine.
