Convex mirrors are widely used as rear view mirrors of vehicles, to see the backside of the road. They are also used in telescopes as well as myopic eyes.

Concave mirrors are mainly used in telescopes, reflectors of vehicle headlights etc. A daily use of concave mirror is, as a shaving mirror. It is also used for hypermetropic eyes.
