Hydraulic brakes are used in automobiles like car, scooter, motorbike, cranes etc.

Hydraulic brakes works on the principle of hydraulic press in which a force applied to a small piston creates a pressure, which is transmitted through a fluid to a larger piston, where it gives rise to a larger force. This depends on Pascal’s principle that the pressure applied anywhere in an enclosed fluid is transmitted equally in all directions.
