Solution

Mass of the body is a fundamental quantity.
Its value remains same at all places. Mass of a body is defined as the quantity of the matter in the body, which can never be zero.
Whereas, weight of a body at a place depends upon the mass and the value of acceleration due to gravity (g) at that place.
