Condoms are better than IUD's and vaults because both IUD's and vaults has some major disadvantages.

These disadvantages include that both of them if used for longer time can cause infection in the female genital system and they do not provide protection against sexually transmitted diseases (STD). Insertion of IUD is very expensive cannot be afforded by some peoples.

Condoms are easily available and cheap, they have only one disadvantage that they may get weaken or torn during use only if they were stored for so long or in humidity or heat.
