Which of the following organelle isn't visible under the microscope even after the use of a dye ?
a) vacoule b) nucleus c) mitochondria d) cell membrane
Generally most of the cell organelles are not visible under light microscope by staining, except the nucleus. Nucleus gets stained due to the presence of chromatin in it. Mitochondria , vacuole and cell membrane do not take up the general stains and hence are viewed under electron or fluorescent microscope.
