The freezing point of milk is nearly, -0.5^oC, so it can be separated from by freezing the mixture at a temperature below 0^oC for 24 hours at least, where water and milk will freeze in separate layers

(b) Brick powder mixed in red chilli powder
Brick powder is denser than red chilli powder. Put adulterated red chilli in water, the brick powder settles down at bottom and red chilli floats. Hence it can be separated by sedimentation. Then red chilli can be filtered from water an dried.

(d) If a person is selling adulterated food items because he is poor, then we can convince him for not doing so by telling him consequences of adulterated food. Making him aware about the disease may cause to other people by his adulterated food items. Make him understand the values of social responsibility.
