Question

whichpart of the flower bouganvillea attract insects for pollination

Open in App
Solution

The flowers of the plant Bougainvillea are very small and white in colour and do not attract insects themselves. But each set of three flowers is surrounded by many colourful bracts which attract insects for pollination. Bracts are modified leaves which resemble the petals of a flower and hence they attract insects for pollination.
