Solution

Some heterotrophs have holozoic mode of nutrition. Unicellular organisms like Amoeba, human and many animals which includes herbivores carnivores, omnivores etc. have holozoic mode of nutrition.

Holozoic mode of nutrition is found in organisms which are not capable to prepare their food. Holozoic mode of nutrition involves ingestion of complex substances and then further digestion, absorption and assimilation inside the organisms. This mode of nutrition provides release of energy which is further utilized by organism for various physiological functions.
