Panspermia is a hypothesis which was first mentioned in a writing of a Greek philosopher Anaxagoras in 5th century B.C. in nineteenth century the theory was again revealed and declared by the scientists including Jons Jacob Berzelius, Lord Kelvin and Hermann Helmholtz.

The theory states that life that exists has evolved from the debris that are created as a result of collision between planets, asteroids etc. According to this theory the life forms did not originate from Earth but exist throughout the universe.
