The Battle of Purandhar was fought between Shivaji and Raja Jai Singh,the senior general of the Mughal Empire.The battle was won by Raja Jai Singh.Treaty of Purandhar was an agreement signed between Jai Singh and Shivaji on 11 June,1665.According to this treaty,Shivaji was to surrender various forts to the Mughals and meet Aurangzeb,the Mughal Emperor personally.
