why a house made up of ice does not melt in the Tundra Region and keeps the Eskimos warm ?

Eskimo houses are called "igloos" which are made by blocks of ice cemented together with snow. They live in Igloo during winter to protect themselves from the severe cold outside since the heat is locked up inside and make it habitable.
