Why a ray of light passing through optic centre of a lens does not deviate from its path ?

Solution

The center of a spherical lens is along the line joining the centers of curvature of the two surfaces.The curvature of the Lens at the incident and exit point are exactly opposite. So that the deviation at the first point is cancelled out at the other.
