Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,

Any damage occuring to the nerves of the brain and the spinal cord are permanent because the nerve cells present in the brain undergo differentiation only once in their lifetime. Once they get damaged, they cannot be regenerated. But any damage to the nerves of the peripheral nervous system is curable to a certain extent.

Hope you got your answer,

Cheers!
