why are leucoderma and albinism caused?

Leucoderma is a distressing skin condition occurs when skin is over exposed to sun. There is a gradual loss of pigment melanin from the skin layers which results in white patches. It can also be caused due to mental worry or stress, improper liver functioning,physical illness, heredity factors etc.

PREVENTION:- The patient should avoid tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages.

Shield your body from sun as much as possible.

Try to drink water in large amount.

Apply adequate sunscreen on your face & arms.

Albinism is a congenital disorder. It is a defect of melanin production that results in little or no colour in the skin, hair, and eyes.
