Solution

Local names are not sufficient for identification of organisms because one species can have many names in different languages which may mean or have some other meaning in other language.

The advantage of scientific name is that its an Universal name which is given to a particular species and is recognised by all the countries and nations.

The convection followed while writing a scientific name is that:

The genus name will be written first which is underlined or italicised. and the first letter of the genus name is always in capitals.
The species name will follow the genus name which is underlined or italicised,ut the species name is never written in capital letters.
