Open in App
Solution

Protozoans are unicellular eukaryotic and heterotrophic organisms. Due to their motile nature and heterotrophic mode of nutrition they are considered relatives of animals. They are classified under Kingdom Protista as this kingdom includes all unicellular eukaryotic and heterotropic organisms whereas kingdom Animalia includes all multicellular eukaryotic and heterotrophic organisms.
