Question

Why blue light have shorter wavelength?

Open in App
Solution

The wavelength of any light depends on its frequency as they both are inversely related to each other. Since it was found that blue light appears at higher frequency hence it will have shorter wavelength. In higher classes you will study the concept of wave representation with its frequency and amplitude and will able to understand this concept more well.
