The Cry proteins present in Bt toxin does not cause any harmful effects on human beings. Since the use of Bt products, only two cases are reported in which this toxin produces adverse effect on the human health. They do not cause any type of allergic reaction in humans. When it enters in our body, it is degraded by proteases, making it ineffective.
