Gandhi after studying law from England, went to South Africa to practice it. Mahatma Gandhi was offered a job by the representative of an Indian business firm situated in the Transvaal in South Africa which he accepted. In South Africa,
Gandhiji was really moved by the plight of Indians in South Africa who were subjected to worst kind of racial discrimination, this made him realize that this plight was due to the subjugation of Indians in their own country by the British.
