Solution

Dear student!

The particles of potassium permanganate and water solvent are not stationary in nature i.e. the come in motion due to which the potassium permanganate particles move apart in the water. The process is called diffusion through which first of all the particles takes space between water molecules and then mix with them to prepare a solution.
