Why does Amoeba do aerobic respiration whereas Yeast does anaerobic respiration although both are unicellular ?

Solution

Yeast does both aerobic and anaerobic respiration. In normal condition like all other organisms yeast also respire aerobically but in a condition when there is no oxygen present yeast does anaerobic respiration which is also known as fermentation.
