Why does distilled water conduct not conduct electricity whereas rain water does ?

Distilled water is the pure water without any impurity like sodium, iron , calcium etc.
Water conduct electricity because of the pure water has no free charge.
In distilled water there is no exchange of electrons therefore no conduction of electricity.
